Helene Cone shared her story about caring for her husband, who suffers from dementia, on Tuesday at the Super 8 Motel here. Eleanor Barron, the local Alzheimer Society’s “First Link” and public education co-ordinator, also highlighted the warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease. The well-attended event was co-facilitated by the local Alzheimer Society and Rainycrest Family Council.
