Lakers acquire forward

The Fort Frances Lakers made an addition to their roster prior to yesterday’s CJHL trade deadline, acquiring forward Tyler Brodersen from the Soo Eagles of the NAHL.
Brodersen, an 18-year-old from St. Louis Park, Mn., had no points in five games for the Eagles.

He is expected to make his on-ice debut for the Lakers here tomorrow night against the Duluth Clydesdales.
Yesterday’s deal was the second move of the week by the Lakers, who added defenceman Simon Desrosiers from the NOJHL’s Abitibi Eskimos on Tuesday.
The Lakers are scheduled to host the first-place Minnesota Wilderness tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena.
