Muskie girls earn sweep

The Muskie girls’ hockey team earned a pair of road wins over the weekend.
The black-and-gold doubled the Proctor Rails 4-2 in an exhibition contest Saturday, then defeated Sioux Lookout in a lopsided NorWOSSA affair yesterday.

With that win, Fort High improved to 2-0 in league play as they prepare to host the Kenora Broncos at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in a rare matinee affair at the Ice For Kids Arena here.
The Muskie boys’ hockey team, meanwhile, travelled to Morden, Man. for a tournament over the weekend, coming away with a third-place showing.
The defending NorWOSSA champs will look to build off their 7-2 victory over the Dryden Eagles in their season-opener last week when they take on the host Kenora Broncos tomorrow night.
