Fort Frances Pharmasave Wildcats’ goalie Cassandra McLellan stopped play Saturday as the Thunder Bay Sabres converged on the crease in Midget division action at a girls’ hockey tournament here. The Wildcats and Sabres battled to a 3-3 in this one, but the hosts won the rematch in the bronze-medal game yesterday by a 1-0 score. Meanwhile, the local BDO Stars Bantam team also captured a bronze medal, blanking the Dryden Sport-top Shooters 1-0. Doug Kitowski Trucking also participated in the Midget division while the Energy Fitness Wild played in the Bantam side of the tourney.
