Montana Plasky of the Piranhas took control of the ball while her teammate, Ashton Barnes, gave chase close behind as they took on the Eels in Division II (under age nine) action in the Fort Frances Youth Soccer league yesterday evening at St. Francis Field. League play will resume today at 5:30 p.m.

Rainycrest residents Vincent DeGagne, left, and David Bliss were among those making a trip to La Place Rendez-Vous on Tuesday evening for a night out. The annual event saw many of the residents enjoy dinner together on the warm spring evening.
